We have received a donation of three extremely rare magazines featuring Wes Montgomery on the cover. The donor, who wishes to remain anonymous, found them by chance at a monthly used book market held at Kusunoki Hall in Tokorozawa City. The donor is currently learning guitar and mentioned, “Wes is my favorite guitarist.” Even for non-Wes fans, these beautiful covers would catch anyone’s eye. While there are countless publications with articles about Wes, finding those that feature him on the cover is quite rare and extremely difficult.

We have introduced some of these in the “Wes-related Books” section of our site. However, considering the items we have yet to acquire or even identify, there is still hope for more discoveries.

We would like to take this opportunity to make an appeal. To all the Wes fans, jazz enthusiasts, collectors, and aficionados visiting our site: if you possess any rare or valuable items related to Wes, not limited to books, please get in touch with us. Even photos are welcome. Let’s share and showcase these treasures to delight many Wes fans.
